Missions Conference

October is missions month at Rehoboth, and we can all be a part of the mission to share the good news of Jesus! In Acts 1:8, we read, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." This month as we focus on missions locally and globally, look for ways to get involved. All of us can pray, most of us can give, some of us can go!

Pray

Will you join us in praying for local and global missions this month? Here is a short prayer guide:

September 27-October 4: pray for local missions and the people being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Pray for Friends Ministry, who is serving those living in poverty in Wexford and Missaukee Counties.

Pray for Community Hope, who is supporting food distributions in Missaukee County, as well as continuing their other work in the areas of mentoring and community building.

Pray for Life Resources, who supports women facing an unplanned pregnancy with medical assistance, mentoring, and support.

October 5-11pray for Mark and Jodi Bosscher and their three children. They are missionaries in Paraguay, and are on home assignment for this coming year (2020-2021). Pray for them as they continue in their language studies, and for the oldest daughter as she transitions into life as a college student.

October 12-18pray for Jason and Kristyna Schuring and their two children. They are missionaries in Brazil, serving in the Amazon jungle. Pray for them as they disciple new believers, translate the Bible, and work to bring clean water to the tribes in their area.

October 19-25: pray for all of the people who participated in the missions conference this year, from those who attended the kick off breakfast, to those who heard from speakers, to those who made new commitments in their life. Pray that each one would have a deeper understanding of God's call on their life!
