Life Groups

We want all people at Rehoboth to belong and feel closely connected to a community of believers. Our Life Group model is based on the early church, which gathered regularly for fellowship, to eat together, and to pray for one another.

What this group is like: The Schutts have been incredibly blessed by facilitating small groups in the past, and we are looking forward to whoever God gives us the privilege of growing together with.  We are very open to having the group discern “what happens” (time/format/childcare or brought along etc.) as long as food is somehow involved!

What this group is like: Mark is a fully devoted follower of Jesus, cleverly disguised as a father of 2 college-age kids, an International Commodity Planner for Haworth, a fan of football at all levels and a self-diagnosed nerd. He's also 10 years a widower, and still learning to rely more and more on the daily grace and strength that comes through faith in the Father-God that Jesus knew. This group will be lighthearted, fun, and a safe place to ask questions as we seek answers together from a uniquely single perspective in God's kingdom.

  • Ladies Life Group

When: One Sunday a month at 6 pm

    Where: Jessica's home

    Leader: Jessica Whetstone

What this group is like: I have been a member of Rehoboth since I was a kid.  I am a social worker at Community Mental Health, and the Director of the Kids Hope Mentoring Program.  I have been involved with the Grace Women’s Circle for many years also.  This group is for any woman that wants to join!  We usually meet on the 3rd or 4th Sunday of the month, although this may vary depending on what we all have going on.   We start meeting in September and decide at the first meeting what we would like to study.
