Mission and Vision

At Rehoboth, our mission doesn’t change. We are here to win people for Christ and equip them to serve. However, as the world changes around us, the way we work out that mission in our community will grow and shift. This year, our congregation has done the hard work of casting a vision for the next 5 years of where we feel God is calling us.

Our Values

Biblical

Truth

God gave us the Bible and it's 100% true and 100% applicable to our lives today.

Meeting our Community

We want to go to our community, not expect them to come to us.

Humbly Serving with Generosity

We are going to be all-in with our time and with our resources.

Leave no Generation Behind

We are an inter-generational church, and each generation brings gifts to the table that we don’t want to ignore.

Healthy Communication

As a congregation, we want to embody Christ-like communication. We solve our conflicts when the arise and we are quick to forgive.

Spirit-led

Worship

Our church services aren’t for us, they exist to give God the glory for who He is! Our worship will be led by the Spirit and God-honoring.

Three Strategic Pillars

With these values in mind, we are being called to three different strategies.

Disciple Makers

We will equip people to grow in Christ and multiply disciples by:

  • Training disciples to be disciple makers.
  • Multigenerational worship with regular youth involvement.
  • Intergenerational Life Groups and mentoring.
  • Personal recruiting—match skills to ministry needs.
  • 20’s & 30’s ministry development.

Spiritual Renewal

We will strengthen church health and deepen spiritual vitality through:

  • Healthy communication & transparency.
  • Renewing active committees and raise up leaders.
  • Heartfelt, youth-inclusive worship.
  • Learning to share our faith & engage neighbors.
  • Clear leadership roles for staff & teams.

Be Known in our Community

Increase visibility and relational presence where God has placed us by:

  • Expanding food ministry with spiritual engagement.
  • Youth group, school ministry, kids’ program.
  • Meet people where they are on their journey.
  • Outward-focused Connections Team.
  • Senior outreach & visitation.

Measure Progress

Our priority is to be Disciples Making Disciples. We're going to know if we're on the right track by watching for two things.

  • Church Growth

If we are all working to make disciples, our church will grow.

  • Youth in Leadership

We’re an intergenerational church, and young people have gifts they want to use. Let’s help them develop their gifts.

Our Unique Kingdom Contribution

Intergenerational service to our community through youth and food ministries.
This is where the needs of our community, the passion of our people, and the resources God has given us all come together.

That's nice, but...

Who's going to make all of this happen?

The short answer: all of us. Me. You. The person sitting next to you right now. The person you share a pew with and the people across the sanctuary. It’s all of us. Every single one of us, working together, can make this vision a reality.

Our main priority is to be disciples making disciples. How is God calling you?
